More About Commercial Flyscreen Door
What Is It?
A full aluminium-framed commercial flyscreen door built to take heavy daily traffic. Unlike domestic magnetic or panel screens, this one stays standing when a crate gets shoved through it. It's the door we recommend for any doorway that's in constant use and needs a screen that can take a knock.
The door measures 97cm wide by 219cm tall and comes with a heavy-duty spring closer, so it swings shut on its own after every use rather than being left propped open. An aluminium kickplate is available as an add-on to protect the bottom of the door from trolleys and boots.
Who It's For
- Food prep and commercial kitchens - food-safe mesh, spring-closing so it's never left open.
- Workshops and garages - takes the daily traffic of a working back door.
- Warehouses and loading bays - built for doorways that get used constantly, not occasionally.
- Any commercial back door - staff room doors, storerooms, anywhere insects get in through a door that's propped open through the day.
Sizing & Bespoke Openings
The 97 x 219cm door works in doorways from that size upward. For a wider, taller or non-standard opening, email us your measurements and we'll confirm what's possible.
If what you actually need isn't a door at all - screening a louvre, vent, hatch or other opening - we also supply loose insect mesh by the metre, including narrow rolls purpose-made for ventilation openings. That's often a better fit for a plant room, warehouse vent or similar job than a made-up door. Email us the opening size and we'll advise on the right material.
